An academy built around the student, not the syllabus
EduRise Academy began in 2016 with two classrooms in Kota and a simple conviction: students do not fail because they lack effort, they fail because nobody diagnoses what is actually going wrong.
Origin
From two classrooms to three cities
Our founder had spent ten years watching capable students plateau in large coaching halls. The teaching was competent; the feedback loop was not. Nobody could tell a student whether they were losing marks to weak concepts, poor speed or careless reading.
EduRise was designed to close that gap. Small batches, a published test calendar, and an analytics layer that turns every paper into a specific, actionable list of what to fix next.
Today we run campuses in Kota, Delhi and Lucknow along with a live online programme that reaches students in towns where no serious classroom option exists.

What we believe about teaching
Three principles decide how we hire faculty, write material and structure a batch.
Concepts before shortcuts
A shortcut taught before understanding is a liability in an unfamiliar question. We teach the reasoning first and the technique second.
Feedback must be specific
"Work harder" is not feedback. Every test produces a topic-level, error-type-level readout the student can act on within the week.
Pressure without panic
Exam temperament is trainable. Regular timed testing in a supportive environment builds calm rather than dread.

Concept-first classroom sessions with worked examples, derivations and visual reasoning before any shortcut is introduced.
Practice
Graded daily practice problems that move from single-concept drills to multi-concept application sets.
Test
Scheduled chapter, part-syllabus and full-length tests under real exam timing and marking conditions.
Analyse
Every paper produces a breakdown of accuracy, speed, silly errors and topic-level gaps on the student dashboard.
Improve
Mentors convert the analysis into a two-week action plan — targeted sheets, re-teaching slots and revision checkpoints.

Rohini Deshpande
Founder & Academic Director
Started EduRise in 2016 with two classrooms in Kota after a decade of teaching senior Physics batches. She still reviews every test paper before it goes out.
Vikram Sethi
Head of Academics
Oversees curriculum sequencing across all centres and runs the fortnightly faculty review where test analytics are discussed subject by subject.

Designed the mentoring framework — fortnightly one-to-ones, parent reporting and the escalation path when a student's numbers slip.
